I believe what happened was the telecast was originally misplaced in the "Feature Films". There was some confusion about the copyright status. And the uploader removed the files. They then re-uploaded the telecast and had it placed in Classic-TV. I remember the uploader did say that he felt that some of the people who responded to his posts on the Feature Films forum treated him rudely so I am not sure if the files for this and their other contribution "The House of Rothschild" were removed becasue of this.

This all happened on the Feature Films forum.

I downloaded the large file of 1984 and converted it to DVD. I will rip the DVD and up load a copy of it in the next coupe of weeks.

I also have it still on my computer, so I guess I can upload it... and if it gets yanked, it's not because I yanked it.

give me some time because I don't have a clue how to do this. I guess there's no time to learn like the present! however, I only have it in one format and I'm not sure how to change it to the different formats.

I'll let you all know when I have it done, or if I have trouble... who wants to help me if I need it?

I wish I could but I never learned myself, sorry. Good luck with that. When you learned, dumb it down for me okay and tell how to do that. I don't have alot savvy when it comes to this stuff.

Well, I'll have to do it this weekend. I started it, but it's a fairly large file and I didn't realize it was going to take so long, so I canceled it so I could go to bed before my meds wear off. Without meds, I simply do not sleep at all, so I don't mess with da meds on work nights. Makes me wonder if I should try some "Betty Hutton Show" therapy instead of meds?

I will start it Saturday morning and all will be right with the world. Good night everyone!

don't know the answer to that one...

searching the threads I found some info regarding it being posted and a request to have it moved from movies to classic tv but nothing about why it would be pulled.

Most likely a public domain question but I don't see any notice of such.

maybe one of the earlier uploaders, reviewers or posters can shed some light on it...

here are some of the recent threads:
